How did the year go by so fast? 2012 went by in the blink of an eye and the snap of a shutter, but it was a year rich in imagery, ideas, and community. I have to begin this exhibition with a big thank you to all who participated and shared a special image, and an even bigger thank you to Grant Gill and Sarah Stankey who keep me sane with their incredible efforts with LENSCRATCH--my gratitude is endless.
Hundreds of photographers sent in images and there are 5 pages of posts....at the end of each page click on "Older Posts" to keep going. I hope you are inspired by today's offerings and look forward to what next year will bring. Happy Happy 2013!

Every photograph leaves me with a piece of someone. Thank you Aline for Lenscratch.

Thanks for your effort, Aline. As someone Brooklyn born however, that bridge pictured somewhere in the middle is The Manhattan Bridge- not the Brooklyn...
I know there are many more photos to look at but I am in awe of the creativity here.
So interesting seeing these - thank you, Aline!
Many great images! I would like to see more landscapes, though of course these are your choices.
However, Tom Griscom's "Brooklyn Bridge, NY” is actually a picture of Manhattan Bridge.
FYI, Steven and Stan, these are not Aline's selections - it was the choice of each photographer to submit their favorite photo of 2012 and they identified them/not Aline - Thanks, Aline for the exhibition opportunity!
