French photorapher, Estelle Hanania, likes to work around this fine line between normality and insanity. At 25, Estelle began her photography career working in portraiture and sill lifes, but soon began recieving commissions from design houses. For Hannah's personal work, she is drawn to outsider and folk art and the idea of using costumes to create alternate realities. I work almost like a reortage photographer to five the feeling of realism in my images, so it emphasizes the contrast with the almost fantastic subjects I choose. I want to viewer to wonder what he is looking at: Is it real? Is it staged?

Estelle's imagery is unusual, stirring, and quite potent. Thanks for this post, and congrats to Estelle.
